Employers today say many individuals lack realistic views of what the world of work is all about, especially in today’s economy. They arrive late to work, they dress inappropriately, are unwilling to take a less than perfect job and work their way up and some believe they should be earning higher salaries than employers are willing to offer. Employers are also seeing more and more job seekers that lack maturity and business acumen. They say that some individuals do not know how to act in some social situations, they lack professionalism and tact, and they lack good business judgment.
